what is a registered clinical aromatherapist?
pulse of life products are created for you by a registered Clinical Aromatherapist with more than 20 years experience in aromatherapy & over 40 years experience in the health profession.
A registered Clinical Aromatherapist must:-
1. hold a nationally accredited clinical aromatherapy practitioner qualification.
2. be a member of a recognised professional association (eg. ATMS). The association determines the professional standard & conduct of your practitioner & requires your practitioner to maintain current skills & knowledge via ongoing participation in approved professional education for the duration of their professional career.
Information verifying practitioner qualifications & current professional association memberships should be displayed prominently in your Clinical Aromatherapist's practice. Always ask for verification if you are in doubt.
are all aromatherapy oils the same quality?
It is important to note that inferior synthetic & fragrance “oils” are not the same as the pure essential oils produced by nature. Inferior copies do not possess the vital chemical structure that provide the oil with its unique therapeutic properties.
Even oils that are labelled as “pure essential oils” can vary significantly in quality. The location of the plant, the growing conditions, the extraction process & the method of storage, are some of the many factors that can influence the quality of the oil.
Only quality, authentic, practitioner grade, pure essential oils & raw materials from reputable, ethical sources are used in the preparation of all pulse of life products.
All pulse of life products are made to order or produced in small batches to ensure optimum efficacy.
is it safe to swallow essential oils?
It is against the code of practice for an Aromatherapist in Australia to prescribe the oral ingestion of essential oils. There are a variety of reasons for this.
